Happiness adds positivity to performance



Formula for success usually followed is if one works harder one will be more successful and if one is moresuccessful, then one will be happier. Parenting style, managing style, the way we motivate our behavior is scientifically broken because every time one achieves success, one just changes the goal post of success in life. 

Example is if one has got good job, one seeks a even better job. So, if happiness is on the opposite side of success one’s brain never gets there. One has pushed happiness over the cognitive horizon because we think when we will be successful then we will be happy. The real problem is that the brain works in opposite order. If you raise the level of positivity in the current time frame then the brain experiences what we now call happiness advantage. 

With the brain positive, we perform significantly better. The happiness advantage is we secure better job, we are better at keeping jobs, superior productivity, more resilient, less burnout, less mind diversions, greater sales. If we find ways of becoming more positive in the present then our brain becomes even more successful.


Once intelligence rises, creativity rises, one’s energy level rises and in fact every single business work outcome increases.

Write down three new things you are grateful for twenty one days in a row (brain starts retaining a pattern) journalling about one positive experience in the past 24 hours allows the brain to relive it. Exercise teaches one’s brain one’s behaviour matters. Meditation allows the brain to get over the cultural ADHD in our lives, by trying to do multiple tasks in hand. 

Finally random acts of kindness or conscious acts of kindness to get people open up and help somebody with one positive social support network. By doing these activities, one can train brain to create ripples of positivity in real time leading to better happiness and everyone can contribute to increasing happiness in the world.
